What can you say about joining the PA program?
For a long time, the hotel business was a little behind in terms of equal opportunity, with a highly stereotyped vision of the different jobs. We have always been open to change and to overcoming preconceived ideas, and we were soon integrating women in cook or concierge positions and men in positions which were traditionally occupied by women. Having mixed teams was a performance-increasing factor for us. We do not recruit women or men, we recruit skills.
Focus on the company
The hotel Le Royal, which is famous for its refinement, its sense of hospitality and impeccable service, is probably the only 5-star hotel in Luxembourg’s town centre, and is a member of Leading Hotels of the World: 210 rooms and suites. The contemporary-design Piano Bar, the Amélys restaurant, which offers traditional cuisine and opens onto a magnificent, peaceful flowered terrace during the summer, and the Pomme Cannelle restaurant, which offers creative gastronomy cooking, are all a perfect illustration of the restaurants’ excellence.
