« The fight for gender equality should be a thing of the past, however it is still very much relevant. For Polygone too there is still a lot to be done. The significance of such a project is even more valuable to my mind.»
What can you say about joining the PA program?
We chose to join Positive Actions to officially perpetuate the social policy within the company in an accessible way, using the program’s 3 main themes of equal treatment, equal decision-making and reconciliation between private and working lives. One message was particularly important for us: Jobs at Polygone are not men’s jobs or women’s jobs, they are open to all.
We wished to increase the number of women in technical jobs and reduce stereotyping. In addition, parental leave and part times have been at the heart of our concerns. We have reassessed our approach to teleworking and flexible hours specifically to promote gender equality. At the end of the day, gender equality at work is not about taking away power from one individual to give more to another.
Focus on the company
